2011 PROJECT WORKS

Footings were improved for the rebuilt wall around the rear of Coach House and Stables. This was also to assist in reducing the noise from the Air Source heat Pump, not from the Coach house and Stables as it happens, but from the main house and the Cottage. Stones excavated from the site were re-used and capped off with slates recovered from the original roof.

Garage Doors.

Renovated Garage doors looks much better in their new coat of "Hollybush" Green.

Another project running is the redecoration of the main Drawing room. As the wallpaper was stripped off, the name of the previous decorators was exposed together with the date - 22 Dec 1937!!!!!
